“Poor access to improved water and sanitation in Nigeria remains a major contributing factor to high morbidity and mortality rates among children under five.”
A recent survey conducted by Nigeria’s Bureau of Statistics and UNICEF shows that 3 in 10 people lack access to clean water sources. According to Aid agencies, 60 million Nigerians or more are unable to access clean water. That is about 1 in every 3 people.

The lack of accessible, reliable and safe drinking water, together with poor sanitation and hygiene, is estimated to cost Nigeria about USD$1.3 billion in access time, loss due to premature death, productive time lost and health care costs.

AquaAfrica Solutions is committed to contributing towards Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 6 by 2030 as specified by UNICEF. Our efforts are geared towards providing equitable access to water in various communities across Nigeria and Africa. Our resources and teams are deployed to ensure sustainability of water in rural communities.
By creating sustainable solutions to address the problem of lack of access to safe water, per community, we can vastly reduce mortality and disease rates in homes and families, as well as in our society.
We are a Non-Governmental Organisation saddled with the responsibility of improving access to clean water and sanitation by rendering bespoke services to stem water scarcity in Nigeria and Africa at large,
Through people's donations and support, we have been able to touch thousands of lives by repairing over 500 motorized, solar and handpump boreholes. We believe strongly that access to clean water and clean toilets should be normal irrespective of geographical location or background, gender or race. In order to curb the adverse effect of climate change, we usually resort to revitalizing, rehabilitating existing water infrastructure as immediate solution to end water poverty in rural areas where most NGO's find very difficult to access as well as urban areas.
Our services are tailor-made to suit the needs of the people ranging from providing tanks, re-reticulation, replacing damaged pipes, water and pressure flushing to restore water facilities. We have channels through which we receive and collate request for repairs and often times, they are usually in remote areas where many NGO's can barely reach. We need sponsors and donors. We can be contacted for Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSR) for corporate bodies that would like to reach out to different categories of people depending on their Organizational goals and target for year.
Our teams are well trained. They can handle various issues relating to water facilities like dams, waterworks, well, boreholes (solar, electric powered boreholes, and handpumps) in Nigeria and Africa at large.
Our strategic approach to work is the main reason for our success.
See what people are saying about us!
I wish to salutes the initiative of Akeem Amao (Project Leader Aquafrica Solutions) who has added alot of values to most of the services rendered by ABS constituency office through his position as the pioneer chairman of committee on repair of broken down boreholes.
For the avoidance of doubt, He came on board when we needed his services most.As at then, considerable numbers of boreholes were needed to be repaired in kwara central.
To God be the glory today that, those damaged boreholes had been put into use effectively.
Kudos to Akeem Amao.
I have Akeem Amao to thank for his meticulous selfless services. He worked diligently with outstanding passion. He delivered 100’s of Borehole repair jobs less than 1 month. I will recommend Akeem of Aquafrica Solution at anytime for higher responsibilities.
I have worked with many and indeed I can say for a fact, he stands out. His drive is never for monetary gain but humanity. Yinka Otukoko. Director of Projects
